The latest version of SIGMA Photo Pro 6.0 download

The Sigma Corporation is pleased to announce that SIGMA Photo Pro 6.0 for Windows and Macintosh will be available for download on June 25th. This latest version is compatible with the RAW data taken by the SIGMA dp2 Quattro.

SIGMA Photo Pro 6.0 is an exclusive software package especially developed for editing the RAW image files of the SIGMA SD and dp/DP series. It allows easy operation for basic parameters such as exposure, contrast and sharpness. Simply by moving a slider from left to right while looking at the selected image, an ideal photographic expression will be available.
SIGMA Photo Pro 6.0 is not only compatible with the RAW data of the new SIGMA dp2 Quattro, but also has improved functionality. It has renewed its image processing and enabled faster display in the Main Window and better usability.

The latest version, SIGMA Photo Pro 6.0, is only compatible with the RAW data of the Quattro series, Merrill series and SIGMA SD1. For those who have RAW data taken with SIGMA cameras other than the above mentioned models, please edit them with the conventional SIGMA Photo Pro 5.5.3 until the next version, SIGMA Photo Pro 6.1.0 will be available. We are planning to announce SIGMA Photo Pro 6.1 in August.

・Thumbnail view start-up time has speeded up.
・Resulting images will appear in the thumbnails after editing.

・Location and color information of pointer has been added to Display Guide.
・Loupe lock has been added to Display Guide.
・Color/Monochrome switching function has been added to Display Guide.
・Fringe Correction is keyboard accessible.
・Color and fine adjustment interface have become more intuitive and easy to operate.
・Undo and Redo have been added to image editing process.
・Switching Display Quality Priority Mode and Display Speed Priority Mode is possible.
・Vignetting Correction has been added to Monochrome Processing.
・Toning Adjustment function has been added to Monochrome Process.
Features for the RAW data (X3F file) of SIGMA dp2 Quattro:
・It’s possible to save the setting of 3 groups for each Color and Monochrome Processing.
・Auto (Light Source Priority) and Color Temperature have been added to White Balance setting.
・Four new preset color modes: Sunset Red, Forest Green, Foveon Classic Yellow and Cinema, have been added to Adjustment Mode Palette.
・Aspect Ratio is selectable.
・It is possible to save an image size at SUPER HIGH size.
・Overexposure Correction function has been added to Tonal Adjustments.
