Notice on usage of SIGMA’s interchangeable lenses for L-Mount when used in combination with Leica cameras.

We would like to share the following notice on usage of SIGMA’s interchangeable lenses for L-Mount when used in combination with Leica cameras.

１．With lenses with an aperture ring, setting the aperture value by the aperture ring is possible only on the following cameras.
・ Leica CL with firmware version 2.2 or later
・ Leica SL with firmware version 3.5 or later

２．With lenses incorporating focus mode switch, setting the focus mode by the switch is possible only on the following cameras.
・ Leica CL with firmware version 2.2 or later
・ Leica SL with firmware version 3.5 or later

３．When the power is turned off on the connected camera, the message “Lens with high power consumption causes faster battery discharge.” may be displayed on the LCD monitor.
This is in the camera’s default message, however it will not cause functional limitations or malfunctions when in use.
